Terry Alfermann, Owner/Head Of Sales 

I have lived in Mid-Missouri my entire life, I am married and have one daughter who just entered her first year of college. I enjoy this industry for the variety it brings and seeing satisfied homeowners enjoying their completed projects.

I met Randy Minchew in 1995 and have been privileged to watch our company grow since we opened it in 1999. I have been working in this industry for over 25 years and enjoy every bit of it.

My wife and I moved to Columbia in 1994, from Houston, Tx with our children. The move was a refreshing experience because living in such a large city all my life was very hectic. I loved Columbia from the moment we arrived! Columbia is big enough to have variety but just small enough to get to know everyone and to feel a sense of community.

My entire professional career I have been in the Construction/Remodeling industry whether it was Sales of Products and Services in this industry or manually installing the products myself! My first job in construction was at the age of 17.  And I have never felt the need to do anything else!

After we moved to Columbia, I met Terry Alfermann in 1995, while working together we started to brainstorm ideas of starting a company that served Central Missouri homeowners in a unique way. Offering quality products at affordable prices, and treating the customer with respect from start to finish. Those same principles apply today as we continue to meet and serve new customers and when we do new projects with our repeat customers.


   

Dyarl Lewis,  Project Sales Coordinator

Columbia is home to me, I was born here at University Hospital. After graduating from High School at Rock Bridge Senior High I attended Mizzou. In 1980 I began working in the Construction industry and never left. I married here and my wife and I have 2 children who have both grown up in Columbia.

I have spent nearly 30 years focusing on residential remodeling, project design and management. Having taken many construction projects from phase one to completion, I am familiar with the ins and outs of this industry. I love to see a project completed and do everything in my power to create a satisfied Swift customer.

I have been training and recently become certified through the Columbia Water & Light to perform Energy Assessments, so I am excited to see it grow as we see Columbia's homes improved through the program.

 


 

   

Barry Roewe, Project Sales Coordinator

I was born and raised in Ashland, MO, graduating from High School there.  I moved to Columbia to attend the University of Missouri (Go Mizzou!!!) from 1996-2000. I was originally introduced into the construction and remodeling industry while working part time for a friend helping him with his roofing and gutter installation company.

After working in the insurance business for a few years I knew early on I had found an industry I truly enjoyed, and I have been working full time helping homeowners ever since. I enjoy working with homeowners, helping them solve home improvement issues and creating a home that they love.

 

 


 

  


Samantha Minchew, Office Manager/Production & Marketing Coordinator

I have lived in Columbia, MO since 1994 when my family moved here from Houston, Texas. I graduated from Rock Bridge High School and attended the University of Missouri studying Business Management and Marketing courses. My father, Randy Minchew is the one of the owners of Swift Companies. I am his 2nd oldest daughter of 6 children; we have a big family! I have been around this company since we opened in 1999, helping part time around the office and with the Columbia Home & Garden Show every year. My father has always been involved in the construction industry, so I have watched him complete remodeling projects since I can remember.

I love to work with people and enjoy the creative side of managing a business. I learned a lot about becoming an entrepreneur in February of 2006 when I obtained my Missouri Real Estate License, while helping manage our family’s restaurant The Scoop Frozen Custard Shoppe. I joined Swift Companies full time in January 2007 as the marketing coordinator and I am currently the office manager.
